MITS Discover 7.0

New Features

  • New Flash Screen Progress Bar - long-running flash screens and exports will now display a progress bar instead of an hourglass. This feature will also greatly lessen the possibility of receiving a timeout message.
  • Sorting Enhancements - you can now specify multiple column sorts on a single flash screen, and new icons will appear in the column headings to indicate sort order and precedence on the current flash screen if the sorting has been specified for a flash screen.
  • Redesigned "Expand by Specific Values" Drill-Down Feature - fully redesigned the "search" feature on this screen and added the ability to type or paste in a list of keys for select exploration. Also, values on a saved flash screen that were selected in a previous session will be restored when entering this screen in a new session.
  • New "Change Displayed Columns" Interface - allows users to add and remove multiple flash screen columns at once rather than needing to add & remove them individually. You can also filter the column listing by eon type.
  • Drag & Drop Columns - the columns in a flash screen can now be re-ordered using "drag-and-drop" from within the flash screen interface.
  • "Hide Zero Rows" Option Added to "Create Flash Screen" page - you can now specify that you would like zero rows hidden while creating a new flash screen.
  • "First Page" and "Last Page" Navigation Buttons - new buttons have been added to the flash screen display that will allow you to jump to the last page or return to the first page in a multi-page flash screen.
  • MITS Dashboard Object Creator - a browser-based, graphical interface for creating CELL, STOPLIGHT, CHART, THERMOMETER, SPEEDOMETER, and GRID dashboard objects has been created for use with the MITS Dashboard product.
  • Easier to Create Dashboard Libraries and Dashboard Object Libraries - these can now be created through MitsAdmin.
  • Added UniObjects Support to MitsWeb Gateway - the MitsWeb Gateway host connections can now be made using UniObjects to connect to the database instead of Telnet.
